I hope this finds you and your family in good health. I am writing today with mixed emotions to let you know of my plan to retire as a pediatrician with Raleigh Pediatric Associates at the end of December 2024. I have been privileged to serve you, your children, and in some cases your children’s children, over the last 27 years as a pediatrician with this practice. I am humbled that you have entrusted me with the care of your children and your family over the years, and I will miss the relationships I have developed since 1997.

Although I will miss the active practice of pediatrics, I look forward to the next chapter, which at a minimum, will include more travel, longer bike rides, and more “D-dad” time with my grandchildren.

As I leave, however, I am confident that you will continue to receive the highest quality of pediatric care from my partners and our staff. I joined Raleigh Pediatrics because of its reputation for providing excellent, compassionate care for the child and support and education for the parents and caregivers. The physicians and staff at Raleigh Pediatrics remain committed to that philosophy, and I am certain that your family will continue to be well taken care of.

Thank you for the friendship and support that I have received from you during our office visits and other interactions. I wish you continued good health and happiness.
