Meet Dr. Mago-Shah
Dr. Mago-Shah grew up in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area where she graduated summa cum laude from University of Maryland College Park (Go Terps!) majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in English. She completed her medical school training at University of Maryland in Baltimore before coming to Duke University for her Pediatric Residency. She completed an Infant Complex Care Fellowship at Duke and remained on faculty there for 9 years working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the NICU follow-up clinic before joining Raleigh Pediatric Associates in 2024.
Dr. Mago-Shah loves taking care of children of all ages and has a special expertise in caring for infants with special health care needs or medical complexity, NICU graduates, and infants with feeding difficulties. She and her husband, Dhaval, have two girls. In her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling, especially exploring all the local children’s museums and parks with her family.
