John W. Rusher, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Rusher is a native of Richmond, VA. He received his bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from Wake Forest University. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina. He also completed his residency training at UNC where he received the Dr. Edward C. Curnen, Jr. Award, and the Resident of the Year award from Wake Medical Center. His wife, Mary Nash Rusher, is an attorney in Raleigh, and they have twin sons and a daughter. The Rushers enjoy many outdoor activities, including bicycling, soccer and camping.
