Justine Parmele, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Parmele was born and raised in Baldwinsville, a suburb of Syracuse, NY. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Le Moyne College where she minored in physics and music, founded their vocal jazz ensemble, and was also a member of their Integral Honors Program. She attended medical school at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (now renamed the Jacobs School of Medicine) and graduated in 2012. Dr. Parmele completed her pediatric residency at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo (now Oishei Children’s Hospital) and had the honor of being chosen to serve for a year as Chief Resident. She completed a year of fellowship training in pediatric hematology and oncology before deciding to practice in pediatric primary care. She continues to have a special interest in hematology as well as adolescent medicine and preventative care.
She lives with her husband, Namat, who is a software architect and their dog, Louie. They love to play music together, are avid Syracuse basketball fans, and enjoy spending time outside either playing at a dog park with Louie, hiking, or going to the beach.
