Meet Dr. Elfakahany
Dr. Elfakahany grew up in Marietta, GA; her entire family is from Egypt. Starting her education in her home state, she graduated from the University of Georgia with a double major in Biology and Psychology with a neuroscience emphasis. She then received her M.D. from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She later moved here to North Carolina, where she completed her Pediatrics Residency training at Duke University.
Dr. Elfakahany has special interests in preventative medicine, managing diet/exercise in children and teenagers with mental health concerns. However, she truly enjoys working with all age groups!
